Why is it better than a classic vegetable patch?
Modular construction
Thanks to the modular structure, each vegetable pot can be extended in any direction and create your own shapes, heights and gradation.
One module is 29 cm high and is available in three lengths of 50 cm, 90 cm and 128 cm. Due to the different lengths, the elements can also be used as free-standing pots, flower pots around the terrace or as a composter.
Strength
Due to the fact that the vegetable garden is made of concrete, it is very durable and will last for many years, unlike wooden beds, which decompose over time. The vegetable crates we offer are made of concrete imitating wood, stone or architectural concrete, which makes them extremely aesthetic.
Layered construction
The bottom of the box is left open, but protected against rodents by a small-mesh net (maximum mesh size 1.5 cm). In order to reduce the loss of substrate moisture through evaporation, the inner walls of the bed are lined with foil (pond liner is perfectly suitable for this). We prepare the lowest part of the substrate from branches cut into smaller pieces, leaves and turf. Then, we lay out a layer of organic fertilizer and compost. It is important that the layers are well whipped and soaked. High fertility obtained from the raised bed is directly related to the organic material accumulated in it, which gradually breaks down, giving off heat. The last component of the substrate is ground soil, which can be replaced with soil from a bag.
Set contains: 8 moduls (lenght 90cm) board pattern, angular sheets, flat sheets, assembly instructions.
